I have been off for about a month. But I'm back in action. The best time of sports year is coming to an end but a lot of things are picking up again. One is Tiger is back. He is ready to play at the Masters. Two baseball is starting and the Kentucky Derby is right around the corner.
First thing is first with the NCAA tournament coming to an end tonight with DUKE vs Butler. I really didn't want to see this match up. I think Duke was given the golden ticket to walk to the final four. They have a great team don't get me wrong but i just think they were given the road win it all. We all know the NCAA loves Coach K and does want the best for that team. They are the Yankees of college basketball. One thing I see they are debating these days is the tournament ratings are up 8%. They say its because DUKE is in there.
Who really said that. Duke does not have that many fans. They are hated more then anything. I think the tournament games have been awesome all month long and that has given the rating a spike. Its not because Duke is playing. This is a final no one wants to see. A small school that is given no chance to win against the all mighty powerhouse. Its like the 2001 world series. Hey more power to Butler if they do win. I really hope they do. Coach K needs to move on and take his name to another level. Like maybe running the NCAA tournament because we all know we need someone in there that isn't going to ruin a great tournament.
We do not need to expand. They don't want 96 teams it makes it too long and giving teams hope that should not be in there period. Hey if your on the bubble your there for a reason. You need to win more games, you need to spice up your schedule. This will get you in the tournament. Take it from Butler. They play good teams to make up for there conference and they were ready to play when it came time for the dance.
Go Butler beat the Devils.
Next on the list is Tiger. He will be back this week at the Masters. A place he loves and knows because he won it four times. If you think he is going to fail and will not make the cut your mistaken. You need to think about the type of athlete he is. He would not make the biggest tournament of the year his come back if he didn't think he could win. Tiger has a lot off his mind. I think its clear and he is focused and ready to win again. Shoot even if he doesn't win he will be in the top 10. Which means look out at Pebble Beach when he wins the US open. Say what you will the issue is dead hes back and ready to play.
Tiger by 4 strokes.
The hockey playoffs are a week away and then the NBA playoffs to follow. I want to take a moment here to tell you two teams to watch right now. The Detroit Redwings who have won nine of there last ten games and looking at a five seed. At the Olympic break they were out of the playoffs and now might get the five seed. Which is terrible for the team they have to play. If they end up the five they will play Phoenix the four seed who hasn't made the playoffs in seven years and finally had a great season. It would suck to see them bounced after the season they had but it might happen.
They Phoenix Suns are on a roll. They won ten straight before losing the other night to the bucks. The Suns are looking at the two seed right in the face if certain things fall into place that would be amazing. I never thought they were going to be in the playoffs let along finish in the second spot. They are a dangerous team and can win against anyone of the seven teams around them. Amare has been a force since he decided to stay with the team and play out his contact. I believe they can do some damage in the playoffs with this team. They might not get to the finals but they can scare some teams.
Last thing I want to get at is some UNLV recruiting. Rebels are after two high profile recruits that are waiting to sign with the team. Cory Joseph and Dwayne Polee both have not made a commitment yet. I hope they are both land at UNLV. The Rebels need to land a big time recruit like this. If Cory doesn't come I think UNLV will be fine but we need to get someone like this to get us to that next level. I just hope if we do lands these guys there is a good team chemistry and no one cries about playing time. I love what they did last year and it worked for everyone.
That's whats on my mind.

WHAT MADNESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This has been a crazy month. I have been in and out of the Las Vegas Valley for the past two weekends and will be headed there for my third straight week. What a tournament we have had. The Rebels lose on a lucky shot by Ali was the only dagger on the weekend. But overall this was an awesome tournament.
I really like when these smaller schools winning these games. I like teams like St. Marys and Cornell. These are teams who actually try to play good teams during the season. Ill give credit where it is due but Northern Iowa is all luck. Those kids play hard and they get lucky. Kansas overlooked them and UNLV got a horseshit call on steal by Oscar Bellfield who called timeout but was not granted it by the ref. That left 19 ticks on the clock for Ali to throw up a wild three that went in.
Cornell is a great team. They played hard all season and had a tough loss to Syracuse during the season. I think the MWC getting four teams in was good for the conference even though they all lost early that conference has almost all there key players back for every team, which means its only going to get stronger. It will be a four team if not five team race with Utah's development next season.
I have to tell you my bracket isn't very good. My girl picked a better final four then I did. I fell into the Kansas trap into the final four when my gut told me Ohio State. Although I do have West Virgina winning the tourney because I think Huggins has the team to do so this season. I like Baylor but they will have problems with St. Marys. Northern Iowa is the new Loyola Marymount heading to the elite 8 over a beat up Michigan State team. Ohio should take care of NIU but who knows. Cuse will have a tough time with Kansas State who I think is playing the best basketball of the tournament besides Kentucky. As for the Wildcats I don't think they play hard enough to win and Calipari doesn't deserve to win with a team that was bought.
My guess is one of these small schools becomes George Mason and we will see this tournament end with a great final four and Championship game. All the games thus far have been great.
Oh you want to know about DUKE? I really don't care what they do, think they have the easiest road to the final four but anything can happen.
As for the March Madness Homie week!
I was 20-12 this weekend on bets coming through big on Sunday going 4-1 and my boy Mike going an impressive 8-0 on every game he bet that day. We had a blast sitting in the sports book 12 hours a day hanging on the edge of my seat with money on every game. I wish I had more money to blow on these games that's how much fun it is. Mike T yelling obscenities in the sports book causing everyone to look at him in disgust. Jack sleeping at 6pm in the middle of a noise crowded sports book. we had to cover in in cocktail napkins for that. They you have my boy Eddie starting the weekend 0-5 but rolling his way back with 7 out of his last 10 bets winning. And last but not least we have the what i should have done guy. Frankie! Every bet was I should have done this or I should have done that. Come on Frank only straight bets only man. You know better then that. I also want to know what goes on with that OFF NITE ACTION as you call it.
Ranking for the tournament look like this!
#1Mike T
#2 Sims
#3 E Double D I E
#4 Craig
#5 JACK D
#6 Frankie
If Jack and Craig wouldn't have snuck off to the tables during games to LOSE money they might have had a better ranking. Frankie gets the last seed becuase the first time in HOMIE POOL history all his teams were out after Saturdays games.

MARCH MADNESS HAS BEGUN!
My prediction from about month and half ago!
Rebels get screwed again in the rankings you win 2 road conference games and lose votes in the polls. Especially in the coaches poll, how the hell does that happen. I'm done talking about these ranking its never going to matter.Rebels need to be 8-2 in the next ten games to be in the tourney as an at large. This is manageable because they can lose one at home to BYU or UNM and probably on the road at SDSU. We will probably win the first game in the tourney play Utah or UNM and its not going to matter. I say we are 7 seed. Hopefully Utah or SDSU wins the tourney sending four teams to the big dance.
BYU, UNM, UNLV as solid locks. If SDSU can rebound and get better, they finish 4 or five win the tourney they will be the fourth. Utah maybe a little young still.
MID SEASON RESUME 16-4 over all, 4-2 conference Key Losses: Kansas State #13 ,USC (on probation), BYU #10Bad Losses: Utah (at home)
PREDICTIONS: 24-6 over all 12-4 in conference maybe ranked #23I would like a 6 seed in the tourney and win that game putting us in the second round against a team we can beat at a 3 seed or maybe an upset for a 14 seed. We could win that game giving us a shot at a 2 seed and maybe an upset. Its all hypothetical from here we just want to be in the dance no higher than 8 or 9 seed. If were higher we are going to upset some teams.
Soooooooooo... I was pretty close. Also told everyone I know MWC will get four teams in. Right now as it stands everything looks to be on track. Rebels were one game off of where i predicted. They should have never gotten swept by Utah. We get them for a third time in the first round of the Conference tournament. If you think we are going to lose please stop reading. This team has the tournament riding on this game. If they lose there out. They win they are in. This is the team that will make or break the Rebels tournament hopes. They cant beat them its going to be over.
Rebels have a great shot and running this conference tournament. I would like to see UNM get upset and Steve Alford not win another conference tournament game. I would like to see BYU and there wussy point guard go down again by UNLV. Jimmer Ferdette should never be considered for player of the year. A player of the year leads his team no matter the circumstances. He did play because he was sick against UNM in a close game for the conference title. Bobby Hurley had the runs in 1991 and Michael Jordan scored 65 will dehydrated . You had a stomach and cost your team.
Darington Hobson would be my player of the year vote. Tre Willis is very close behind. Hobson has a little more talent around him. I think UNM has great shot at making it far in the tourney and we will see how good they are. If they get a two seed they could see a Louisville in the second round. That would be tough. I see UNLV getting a a five seed if they win the conference tournament and if they make second round or finals six or seven seed.
It all shakes down this week in Vegas. Ill be there wouldn't miss this for the world. UNLV has a great shot at continuing there success in the tournament. They must beat UTAH first.

IT MAKES ME SICK!
I sit here today in morning for the UNLV basketball team. Its over. We all know it, it was just a matter of time before it happened. Tre Willis has that killer instinct to not let us lose but he can not do it by himself. He will have to get some help. He reminds me of Ruben Douglas when he was all UNM had. Its very sad to think he might not ever be in the NCAA tournament like Marcus Banks.
This team just lost to a below .500 Utah team. I haven't seen a loss this bad in a long time. We have lost to bad teams but never someone under .500 when we played them late in the season. I can stomach losses to UNM and SDSU those are good teams. But this loss just puts us back a lot. I cant make excuses anymore. I think we are in serious trouble and it needs to be fixed fast.
When you have players saying they are not on the same page and they are not working hard for the whole game. That spells trouble. Kruger is to blame and so are the players. He get out rebounded every game. I think we play too many guards. Those guys don't rebound and when you have Marshall, Oscar, Stanbeck and Tre all on the floor we are in trouble. Matt Shaw is a big man but a shooter and will never be down around the basket. So when you see guys like Gaston, Wendell, and Joel leave the program that hurts. Not one of these big men is like those guys. Also all three of our big guys can not catch a pass for the life of them. I saw four or five passes dropped on the floor last night and it caused a turnover or blocked/ missed shot.
We need to win every game from here on out. If we do that and win two games in the conference tourney we are out. Its going to suck. But we will be looking Utah right in the face in the first round. Its the same as last season, we had to win games that we didn't and we got left out and there is no reason to do it to us again.
If this starts to become a trend for Kruger, maybe he has taken us as far as he can. We need to be winning games at home. Once again if we would have split this four game stint we would be fine. Kruger needed to find away to get this win. If you have to leave Jones in over Marshall so be it.
so like the great Robert Montgomery Knight said!

WHERE ARE THEY NOW! REBELS TRANSFERS!
So we are a team filled with transfers and it looks like we are doing very well with what we have. I always wonder if the same happen to the guys who transfer out of our program. From what I see we got the better end of the deal by them leaving and not ruining out program.
Let start off about seven years back!
Jamal Holden: He was a recruit by Charlie Spoonhour and was suppose to be very promising. He was not ready for this type of basketball. The run and gun style of UNLV with Banks and Dalron Johnson. He transferred out to Arkansas Little Rock and finished his career there. I do believe he is playing in Asia according to an Internet source. How i don't know they guy was terrible.
John Winston: Young point guard never really flourished in the UNLV system. Transferred out middle of Sophomore year to Loyola Mary mount. He started two years there but never did anything. He average 4 pt and 3 assists a game scoring 20 points once.
Lamar Roberson: He was a Kruger recruit and was suppose to be dominant after transferring from Huston. He was buddies with Wink, and Emmanuel Adeife. Roberson left the team because of lack of playing time well doesn't seem like hes getting anymore in Louisiana either. He doesn't start and is averaging 5 pts a game. He also has had some discipline problems and was suspend at the end of last season.
Emmanel Adeife: He was big transfer with Roberson from Huston and they thought he was the next best thing. Nope he fought with Kruger and was kicked off the team. He landed in Louisiana as well played 17 games and isn't listed on any roster for his senior year. He average 11 minutes and 2 points a game. Some big minutes.
Beas Hamaga: He was a five star recruit out of high school. He was suppose to be this great player. We all think he was garbage and transferred without playing a minute. He went to Valpo and is now transferring from there. Seems like he doesn't like anything and is not going to do much with just two years of eligibility left.
Deshawn Mitchell: He is another young freshmen who could jump out of the gym but would have never found playing time with the team we have now. He is now sitting out at rider where he can play next season.
Marcus Lawrence: He had praise coming out of high school in Vegas like Tavanari and Billy White. He got a DUI and was out of control. Then transfer to Idaho where he plays but very limited minutes. He also has been disciplined in their program as well.
Troy Cage: was another young recruit that just wouldn't have played in this rotation. He transferred twice after UNLV. Once to Louisiana with the other two and now is on the roster at Tennessee-Chattanooga. Doesn't look like much of a future.
Jerome Johnson: He would have helped the team but career ending knee injury. He is still a student at UNLV.
Doesn't look like we missed out on two much but if you think about the players we have from other schools it looks like we are finding gold mines.

FUTURE OF THE PAC 10!
There has been a lot of talk as of late about the new Pac 10. What teams will they expand to? Why are these the teams? There are a lot of things to take into consideration. I'm going to give you my opinion on who I think and why I think its headed this way.
When you think of the PAC 10 expansion you think of two west cost schools right off the bat. Utah and BYU. They are the biggest schools with the best programs in both major sports on the west coast. Both schools have great programs in football and basketball both schools have been in the hunt for BSC bowl games and Utah has played in two of them. Both schools recruit well and have a huge fan base. These would be my choices for the Pac 10 at first glance. Both schools have a certain religious commitments that causes Sunday games to be over looked which might not be a huge problem.
One BIG problem neither city is fun for entertainment or travel. This causes problems to be over looked. Utah is the winner in this on though. Much larger city and large fan base with athletic programs who have been to the top.
So if we have one school who is our next contender. Ill give you a few names. Colorado, Boise State, UNLV, SDSU and Fresno State.
I will do a little process of elimination. SDSU and Fresno State both don't have strong followings in both sports. One sport dominates the other in both schools. Fresno not a huge TV market and SDSU doesn't have the best football program and doesn't play on a home field. Something many of the PAC 10 schools have. Both schools are out of the process on those notions.
Boise State! Great program in football, a team who has made a lot of noise in the BSC bowl games and will continue to dominate on the Smurf Turf. This is very good for the resume but small town, small TV market and not a very good basketball program hurts the school from moving on. Maybe a great choice to beef up the MWC along with Fresno State.
This leaves two schools. Lets start with UNLV. They are a great basketball school on the verge of the old days. They have a great arena on campus and great TV market. The Rebels football team isn't good and the stadium although good it isn't on campus. BUT yes there is a but. The city has the money or can find the money to build one. With an on campus stadium and a rising program that will help winning and fans. That isn't far off. Bobby Hauck will have the program in the right direction. They have the top attendances on the west coast for basketball. UNLV shows a lot of promise.
Colorado is in the BIG 12. Enough said right? Wrong. Many think Colorado is built for the west coast and would fit in better with the travel and TV markets. They say many west coasters are from the Rockies but I don't see it. Colorado wouldn't move from the Big 12. Sure they have had a few down seasons but the Buffs are a top program and have won in the Big 12 before. They would bring a lot of promise to the PAC 10 but I don't see it. Keep the schools close, Colorado is more mid west then west coast. They have one thing in common with the west cost schools they are usually in the top five for party schools with the likes of ASU and SDSU. But they aren't going anywhere. More football schools in the mid west where they belong. The basketball program isn't going anywhere.
Leaves my pick to UNLV. Rebels and Utes in the Pac 10 gives them a championship game in football and possible site in Vegas. This would be one major move for the Pac 10. It will all probably be decided in the coming months so keep the look out.

SHOUT OUT TO MY BOYZ!
I write these blogs about sports to get feed back mostly from my friends and to keep in touch with them on these subjects because most of us live in different states. Its a good way for me to through my opinion out there and to get their opinions on how i feel. Who knows maybe one day my views will lead me to ESPN.
I want to take some time out to tell some of my really good friends back home how proud of them I am. All my buddies in Vegas Josh, Jack B, Jack D, Eddie, Mike T, Bradley, Branden, Scottie, Joe G, and Sean. Those of you i forgot i apologize but these guys i talk to on a daily basis. It makes me proud to see you all doing well. I love reading the paper everyday seeing stories about the lawyers in the group and the ink you get. I owe a lot to the guys who put me in the position I'm in out here in Phoenix.

JASPER OUT FOR FEW WEEKS!
UNLV guard Derrick Jasper suffered a grade 2 MCL sprain to his surgically repaired knee. It will take him about four weeks or so to return. DJ will probably be back for the last game and the MWC tourney.
For those of you idiot who don't know what a grade 2 MCL sprain is. Its a particle tear of the ligament and takes a lot of rest to heal. YES its a small tear. He will be back. Its unfortunate but he will be back in a few games. good thing is we have hard teams to play!
Like i said before 24-6 gets us in the tourney. We beat Louisville without wink we can get by without DJ. The freshmen have to step it up.

SAY GOODBYE TO THE OLD MAN!
It was a crazy weekend in football. Payton did what he needed to do to get by the JETS. But nothing makes me happier or sad than the loss for Farve. The Vikings put up a good fight but you cant turn the ball over that many times and expect to win.
The Viks were the better team by far. You could tell they were marching up and down the field very easy against the Saints. They just make to many mistakes. You cant throw that many interceptions and expect to win the game. Farve should blame himself for that last one. They had the game in the bag and were within the range of their kicker. They did not need to throw the ball on that last play. Brett tired to do what he does best to create a play out of nothing but this was a position that should have been a throw away and a field goal. Plays like that you just do too much. It was bitter sweet to see Brett Farve lost it for his team himself by a bad decision. It was sad to see him make it that far and not make the big game. It will be interesting to see if he finishes out the final year on that huge contract he got. He still has it. he can play and he has a young team around him one more year might do it for him.
They best teams usually come through in the end and both teams in the Superbowl were the best all year. Long. Maybe learning form Patriots a few years back taught these teams that winnings the big game is better than being undefeated. I think your going to see a lot of teams rest there players come week 13 and 14 from now on like the Colts and Saints did. The Saints got lucky yesterday but hey they are playing great ball right now and its like the Cardinals last year.
I think its going to be a lot of hype and everyone wants to see the Saints win but i think Payton does everything right gets the Colts to the Superbowl with another coach. These coaches are defense guys and he runs the offense show. Hes the best QB of my era and will be the best when its all said and done. He can figure teams out in the middle of the game there is something to be said about that. He will probably win four or five before he is done.
Colts by 1o
Rebels get screwed again in the rankings you win 2 road conference games and lose votes in the polls. Especially in the coaches poll, how the hell does that happen. I'm done talking about these ranking its never going to matter.
Rebels need to be 8-2 in the next ten games to be in the tourney as an at large.
MID SEASON RESUME 16-4 over all, 4-2 conference
Key Losses: Kansas State #13 ,USC (on probation), BYU #10
Bad Losses: Utah (at home)
PREDICTIONS: 24-6 over all 12-4 in conference maybe ranked #23
I would like a 6 seed in the tourney and win that game putting us in the second round against a team we can beat at a 3 seed or maybe an upset for a 14 seed. We could win that game giving us a shot at a 2 seed and maybe an upset. Its all hypothetical from here we just want to be in the dance no higher than 8 or 9 seed. If were higher we are going to upset some teams.
That's whats On my Mind

6 losses, LBJ, and a bad loss!
Its been a weird week folks. I think the sickness I have is causing me to imagine shit that hasn't happened. There are a few things I need to speak about this week but one thing I need to do is give Brett Farve a shout out. What a game the old man played. I really hope he gets the SuperBowl win. I really cant stand him but maybe he knows something we all dont. Do it old man I am rooting for ya!
Anyway whats the deal with the east coast bias. Your going to tell me that UNC and UCONN deserve to be ranked? They both have lost six games. Seriously we have come along way to still rank teams that have that many losses. I understand they have tough schedules but its not showing they are losing these games and some have been bad losses. There are better teams that deserved to be ranked with better records. Once again goes back to the east coast bias. They don't watch anyone out west play after 8pm est.
Did anyone show Lebron the tape of him at the 2009 All-Star game? He said he wanted to compete in the dunk contest this year. Now hes backing out? Come on Bron? You think you got some better stuff lets see it? You cant say your going to do something then back out again. This is the second time this has happened. I'm getting the feeling your not going to be in Cleveland either? Show the fans what you got! Make the Dunk contest exciting again.
Speaking of fans whats the deal with the All-Star voting? We have T-MAC and AI in the starting roles? Have they even combined to play all the games played this season? I agree with Ray Allen there should be 20% fan interest and the rest have some rules of engagement. Like you need a minimum games played, you have to have started at least tens games. These things need to be taken into consideration ,we cant have Yuo Ming starting in games when he hasn't even played all season. TMAC hasn't played a full season in quite sometime. Leave it up to the players stats.
Last is the Runnin Rebels! What the hell happen to you guys on Saturday. You played lazy, sluggish and sloppy. You need to win games at home. You lose to Utah a team barely 500? There needs to be more leadership on this team. Tre Willis can not do it all himself. He's averaging 21 points a game in the conference and he needs some help. What happen to Oscar? What happen to Jasper? We need these guys to pick it up. We need to get better shots and drive to the basket more. Bellfield should have 12 points a game along with Jasper. Chace Stanbeck has picked it up a level now the rest of the starting five needs to. We were 17-4 last season and if we tank it again were going to be in trouble like last season. We need to win on our home floor.
That's whats on my mind.

BIG MAC COMES CLEAN!
It happen today! Mark McGwire admitted he used steroids. McGwire was an amazing player. He played in that era. He never denied it but it was time to come clean just like Pete Rose. McGwire set the precedent for the way players should look and act in that era. He hit 49 home runs in his rookie year, which he probably used roids then too.
I believe Mark did a good thing. He was upset talking about what he had to do for this to finally to come clean. He said he used it for a decade. That's a great admission. If he was using them you know everyone was using. He coming out like this puts him in the light like Andy P. and ARod. Those guys took the heat and now they over turned it and are back on top. Big Mac will do the same. He might even get into the Hall of Fame with this admission. The thing is everyone was using in that era. If you weren't then its your own fault. If a hitter and pitchers both admitted it then there was an even playing field.
This will always be a certain era in baseball. Did baseball need this after missing the 1994 season? YES! If Big Mac and Sammie Sosa didn't put on a show for the whole 1998 season then baseball might not have gotten back into the American light like it is now. Everyone loves to turn on the games in October and watch the excitement. No one was doing this in the late 90's because of the lockouts. Hockey still hasn't bounced back from there lockouts.
Big Mac needs to be let back into the family and left alone. What more do you want from the guy its time to move on. This is something every person should look at the truth will set you free. Living a lie is hard to do.
Tiger should take note that coming clean is good to do. Maybe this will start a trend maybe Bonds does the same. Maybe he doesn't but as far as votes go i better see BIG MAC votes in the Hall of Fame go up.
That's whats on my mind.

NBA needs new image!
All this talk about Gilbert Arenas this week just makes it worse for the NBA. This is a league that just cant get out of the way of this bad image they have created.
Arenas gun issue is just one issue that is a long line of image problems for the NBA. They have players all over the league in trouble for infidelity. Hey if were throwing Tiger under, why not all of them too. They have players involved in fights in the stands, fights at night clubs, beating there spouses. Not to mention all the problems the ALL-STAR game causes when it comes to town.
Phoenix and Las Vegas both said they didn't appreciate the crowd the NBA brought in with them. You have a lot of altercations. You have players throwing parties with door guys checking to see if your diamonds are real. Its the life that these guys lead. The people and image they keep. I understand the way these guys dress but you don't have to act that way. I even dress like a kid still. Shoot! Don't you even have a dress code? The money you make, the toys you buy, the houses you have on cribs everyone wants this but we have these guys in a light that shouldn't be that way.
Brandon Jennings might be my favorite basketball player. He drives a ford edge, lives in a normal condo, and said he is saving his money because he heard there was going to be a lock in the next few years. Another athlete who is one of my favorites Dontrell Willis, who said 300k a year is a lot of money to him. That was when he was a rookie, he got a big contract but you still don't see him out flashing guns around.
These guys make money hand over fist and we still give them a pass. Jason Williams killed someone in his home and is now drinking and driving. We let these guy get away with everything. Like I said before David Stern has given every player a second chance and they never learn from it.
Spreewell choked his coach. Got to come back into the league. Artest fights fans and hes back in the league. Stephan Jackson shoots guns and fights fans hes back in the league. I don't see anyone being punished for there actions. Maybe if you take a page from the NFL and actually band these thugs like Lawrence Phillips. Sure the NFL has there fair share of second chances too. I understand that you should be given a second chance but to me these guys don't need to be getting that type of cash. Maybe the second chance would be to be let back in an arena to see a game. Allan Iverson and Stephan Marbury never did anything illegal but they are looked at like outcasts and that is because the image. You let these guys get away with being trashy and acting trashy then your going to attack trashy fans. That is why you have this type of following the NBA has.
I think that its got so out of hand that they needs a serious image make over. If they start to fine there players for everything maybe it will clean it up. Shoot look at Chris Anderson. Hes an outcast and its all about his image. Tattoos are fine I have them but you don't need to act like a thug. You play basketball not hockey! Anderson gets caught up on the drug thing again he should be out of the league. I think these guys get very easy suspensions and that is exactly what Arenas thought that is why he joked about it. He figured he would get a second chance like everyone else and it would be funny.
I'm hoping Stern gives him a stern sentence and this will show guys around the league that its not a joke and we are to represent this league as adults not punk kids.

GILBERT ARENAS ARE YOU KIDDING ME! NBA NEEDS A LIFE!
GILBERT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is something that really pisses me off. Gilbert Arenas brought a gun into the locker room and pulled it out to settle a dispute with a fellow player over a gambling debt. ARE YOU KIDDING ME! If this is me or anyone else in the whole FUCKING world we would be fired. What are we thinking letting this slide. I like Gilbert. I think hes a great player. He runs his mouth but this is very unacceptable. David Stern needs to be punished for not taking actions right away. This story has changed so much that its now being called a joke. I don't give a shit if your joking or not. I learned along time ago if there's a gun involved its serious.
If I were to walk into my place of business and pull out a gun at someone for a gambling debt and then say it was a joke. I would be walked out of the building in the arms of law enforcement. Shoot! I had a cousin bring a BB gun to school left it in his car and he got expelled. It was in his car and its a BB gun.
This is serious.
This is really bullshit.
Nothing has happened to this idiot yet and they are calling it a joke.
I think the government should be stepping in and taking care of this. Hey! If we're so damn hip to get after athletes and punish them, then why don't we do something about this. Gilbert needs to be kicked out of the league. The team needs to release him and that's it. I'm sorry if this were anyone in the public eye besides an ATHLETE, we are taken to jail and reprimanded.
He needs to be kicked out of the league to show these athletes its a privilege. I know you all come from the damn hood but you don't need to bring that shit with you. Grow up. If someone is after you then you put yourself in a situation you shouldn't have. I don't see Michael Oher carrying a gun. Hes fine. He never had to carry a gun when he lived with those folks in the suburbs. HE NEVER PUT HIMSELF IN A DUMB SITUATION.
I really think the government should look into the NBA and this might go further. All these games and things going on that could be fixed. David Stern your a fucking hypocrite. You want to fine players and owners (Mark Cuban) for the words that come out of their mouths or the tweets during games. You should be worried about a player shooting another in the locker room. You have these thugs in this league who you allow to do whatever they want. Sure most are normal but some are thugs. This is a privilege to play in the NBA not a right.
If he isn't kicked out of the league for what is going on here then the NBA should be looked at as a bullshit league. Its a joke and its about as equal to the WWE in my opinion. I feel bad for guys in this league that are talented and have to put up with this shit. Even the biggest thug of them all Stephan Jackson was quoted as saying you don't bring a gun to work!
UNREAL if this gets covered up we have a huge problem and ill never watch or go to an NBA game again. Quote me on that!

20TEN! A FEW THOUGHTS!
Its 2010 and what a decade its been. We have seen the return of UNLV basketball. The Rise and Fall of Tiger Woods. Detroit and Yankee dominating in the free agent market. What else is going to happen as we work towards 2020? I have a few predictions out of my mind.
First off we will see Tiger again. Hes out there somewhere working on his game I hope. I think he breaks Jack's records in 2013. I think before its all said and done Tiger will be back in the good graces of every American and sports fan around. Shoot! I love the KOBE puppet.
I think you will see the little schools take over in big time college sports. I believe we will first see a #16 beat a #1 before its 2020. I think we see a school like TCU dominate a BCS school and that will cause a playoff. Yes you heard it first we will have a playoff in college football in the next ten years.
I think an NBA Player will kill someone on the court with a gun. Have you ever seen the movie Last Boy Scout in the opening scene there is a football player that is holding a gunning shooting opposing players on the way to the end zone. I think this will happen in basketball. Its a league full of thugs! COME ON GILBERT!
2010 you will see a return of Michigan basketball. You will see the Yankees win a few more titles. Dallas Cowboys will win a Superbowl and the biggest shocker of all a team with a double digit seeding will win the NCAA tournament. These are my predictions let me know what some of your predictions are.
BOLD PREDICTIONS FOR NEXT TEN YEARS!
1.UNLV back to the Final Four.
2. Chicago Blackhawks win a Stanley Cup
3. MID MAJOR wins BSC championship in a playoff.
4. Kentucky Basketball gets the death penalty
5. USA HOCKEY GOLD MEDAL
